Starting My Scrapbook!

Okay I have been so excited to start this scrapbook! We just moved in March and we have already created so many memories here I really don't want to forget any of them. And I'll be honest, most of them are small and things I probably won't remember unless I jot them down somewhere. With our new Memories and More scrapbooking system, I figured what better time to start a smaller scrapbook to keep all of those little memories we have? So I just did a couple of pages tonight but once I had all of my pictures printed, cut, and my cards laid out on my desk, it didn't take me long at all to put these pages together! First little tip, did you know that you can print photos to fit into all of the po

How to Pick Color Combinations for a Project | Stampin Up

Happy Monday! Okay before I really get into it, can I just say how proud of myself I am. I was not sure I would actually get a blog post up today but here I am! I am really going to try to blog way more since doing more than 1 video a week is just not feasible right now. I want to keep bringing you content so I hope this works out well! Into today's topic, how the heck do you pick colors you like when creating a project. This is something I struggle with from time to time. One of the perks of Stampin Up and probably the thing I love the most is that everything coordinates together. This can also be an issue from time to time because I can't decide what exactly I want to use. When I designed

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card | Stampin Up

Happy Saturday! I really don't know how it happens but I can't ever seem to keep enough birthday cards in my stash these days. I guess I am the one everyone goes to for cards but I swear, they disappear faster then I can make them :) So needless to say, I needed to make more birthday cards and what better stamp set to use than Happy Birthday Gorgeous? This one has a ton of stamps and so many possibilities. I wanted to keep it super simple since I am making these for a swap. I always try to do an easy card that looks absolutely beautiful and I think this one fits the bill! Make sure to check back in a day or so to see the process I went through to design and come up with this card! It was sup

In the City Birthday Card | Stampin Up

Happy Saturday! Now let me just start off by saying I am SO sad that the last half of my video wasn't in focus. I have no idea what happened to my camera. Sometimes it just likes to mess with me. So hopefully you were able to follow along. All I did was adhere the watercolor paper to the Soft Sky and then put everything together with some dimensionals. Now I know I've mentioned it 101 times but I really love scene builder stamp sets so the new In the City Hostess set had to come to my house right away. I actually got this with my pre order in May and have had so many ideas on what to do with it so this is just the first one! As I mentioned in the video, to get this amazing set, you will have

Pieces and Patterns Greeting Card | Stampin Up

What?!?! Two videos/projects in a row? Something must be wrong with me! Or I'm just really really excited for the new catalog. I'll let you decide :) I am loving this project/concept right now. Now I don't have kids myself so I don't know who exactly I would make this project with but I think it's a great idea to get your kids involved to make a card that they can then turn and give a loved one. Along with this stamp set, here are a couple other products I think would be perfect to use for this! Better Together: Wood-141733/Clear-141736 Oh So Eclectic: Wood-143937/Clear-143940 Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper: 144180 Here are all of the goodies you'll need to make today's proje
