Where Have I Been?

Happy Monday!

Anyone else super excited Monday is pretty much over? Phew, today was a rough one!

I don't want to chit chat too much and get straight to the point of this blog post! As I'm sure you have noticed, I've been pretty absent lately.

Now I won't sit here and claim that there are 100 super important things going on in my life which have caused me to take a step back from LMC. Honestly, I've just been busy with life, nothing exciting just the boring adult life. I still have a full time job which I would love to say only takes up 40 hours a week but in reality, I work closer to 50+ hours. So when I get home, I just want to relax and not think about anything too serious.

Crafting used to be my relaxation. If I was stressed, I made a card. If I was feeling sad, I would create a scrapbook page. If I was bored, I would create something on my Cricut. But lately, I just needed a break. I needed some time to refresh.

That's one thing sometimes we forget. When you invest everything in what you love, to do it as a business, sometimes you forget why you started doing it in the first place. I was forgetting to allow myself some time to just create. Not every project has to be absolutely perfect. Not every project has to be a big showcase with a video, blog post, etc. It's really okay to just create and let myself play and be free.

So taking the past few weeks really reminded me that thats okay and I need to do it more often or I'll start to regret doing this as a business. I love being able to do what I love and get so much reward out of it and I never want to regret my decision again.

Now I'm sure you're dying to know, what exactly does that mean for the future of LMC? Well maybe not what you think! As I said, my little hiatus really refreshed my passion for crafting. It reminded me why I started doing this in the first place and where I want to be long term. So get excited!

I am going to TRY, now when I say try, I really mean try (but I'm not perfect) so I will try to get back into two videos a week. One on Tuesday and the second on Saturday and both will be posted at 3:00 PM MST.

I am also going to start doing card classes again! I really loved doing the free classes that I did in July. I just like giving you the choice on what product you want to purchase but still allowing you to participate in the class even if you don't exactly want/need the product I am showcasing. My first class will be launched November 4th so make sure you turn in to that video to learn all about it!

And I have so much planned for the new year. I will be doing live videos every week, more giveaways, more chances to interact with you. My mind is flooded with new ideas and I can't wait to bring everything to life!

I feel like I have been rambling FOREVER so I'll leave it here. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for sticking through the past weeks with me even though I have been so absent. Having wonderful, loyal customers and supports is such an amazing feeling and I can't imagine doing anything else in my life right now and I can't wait to see everything that is up ahead!

Stay turned for tomorrow's video! I am OBSESSED with the project and can't wait to share!

Happy crafting!

Xoxo, Lyndsay
